Growing up in a town of less than 3k people, 25 miles from the entrance of Yosemite National Park has made me the mountain girl I am today. I love everything about the great outdoors so naturally, when looking for a town to build a home and settle down roots, my fiancé, Nick and I knew we had to be somewhere in the mountains. Placerville is the place we’ve called home for 5 years and we couldn’t have chosen a better area! We have 2 dogs, a custom home that we built ourselves and just under 3 acres in El Dorado County. We're able to enjoy all 4 seasons again like we’ve been used to for most of our lives, as well as the hiking, fishing, boating, and exploring that are endless in this beautiful area.
Nick is in construction and I'm in Real Estate, but it wasn't that we decided on this when we got together over 8 years ago; we knew what career paths we wanted to follow long before we met! I watched my mom as a Realtor® growing up and was always fascinated with the idea of becoming one myself someday. The 3 most important reasons for why I chose to become a Realtor® are; 1.) I wanted a career that would allow me to be flexible, create my own schedule and not put a limit on how hard / how many hours I could work. 2.) I couldn't be stuck doing the same thing every day - I had to be able to change it up, get outside, see different faces, etc. and 3.) By far the most important one, I needed to do something with people. Building long lasting relationships with my clients is one of my favorite things about this amazing job! I hold the relationships I've created through this business close to my heart because so many of my clients have become like family to me and that is something I will never take for granted.
Becoming a Realtor® has been one of the best decisions I've ever made and I’m so thankful for all that this business has given me. I've had the opportunity to guide first-time home buyers who don't have a clue where to begin and are nervous to take the first step towards such an important, financial decision. I've had the pleasure of guiding seniors through the process of selling their home of 20+ years to downsize and move closer to family who can take care of them. I've been on the bittersweet side of listing properties that were primarily vacation homes where the family's children and grandchildren have grown up spending holidays, summers. etc making priceless memories. I've helped clients in the midst of personal situations who just need someone with compassion to take the pressure and stress out of the buying / selling process and guide them accordingly.
I've seen firsthand how having a Real Estate Professional who is trustworthy, sympathetic, hardworking, and knowledgeable can completely change peoples’ lives. I strive to provide my clients with the utmost care, consideration and diligence during what is usually one of the biggest decisions they make in their lives. I don't tread lightly when it comes to my clients' situations and I always have their best interests in mind. I hope you'll find that you can place your trust in me as well!
