Growing up in a town of less than 3k people, 25 miles from the entrance of Yosemite National Park has made me the mountain girl I am today. I love everything about the great outdoors so naturally, when looking for a town to build a home and settle down roots, my long-time boyfriend, Nick and I knew we had to be somewhere in the mountains. Placerville is the place we’ve now called home for almost 3 years and we couldn’t have chosen a better area! We have 2 dogs, a custom home that we built ourselves, and just under 3 acres in Placerville, CA. We're able to enjoy all 4 seasons like we’ve been used to most of our lives and the hiking, fishing, boating, and exploring are endless in this area.
Nick is in construction and I'm in real estate, but it wasn't that we decided this when we got together over 6 years ago; we knew what career paths we wanted to follow long before we met! I watched my mom as a Realtor® many years ago and was always so fascinated with the idea of becoming one myself one day. I knew my Type-A personality couldn't handle doing the same thing day in and day out so the 3 most important reasons for why I chose to become a Realtor® myself were; 1.) I had to choose something that would allow me to be flexible, create my own schedule and not put a limit on how hard/ how many hours I could work. 2.) I couldn't be stuck doing the same thing every day- I had to be able to change it up, get outside, see different faces, etc. and 3.) Possibly the most important one, I needed to do something with people. Building long lasting relationships with my clients is one of my favorite things about this amazing job!
Being a Realtor® has been all that and MORE to me and I’m so thankful for all that this business has given me. I have had the opportunity to guide first-time home buyers who aren’t sure what to do and are nervous taking the first step towards such a life-changing decision! I've been blessed to be able to guide seniors in the next step of selling their home of 20+ years to downsize and live closer to family who can take care of them and have to be closer in order to do so. I've been on the bittersweet side of listing homes that were primarily vacation homes where their children and grandchildren have grown up spending holidays and making memories that will last a lifetime. I've helped clients going through personal situations who are so tired and worn from what they’re going through that they just need someone to take the pressure and stress out of the situation and guide them accordingly.
I've seen firsthand how having a real estate professional who is trustworthy, sympathetic, hardworking, and knowledgeable can completely change peoples’ lives. I work so hard to provide my clients with the utmost care, consideration and diligence during what may be one of the biggest decisions they make in their life. I don't tread lightly when it comes to my client's situations and I always have their best interests in mind. I hope you'll find that you can place your trust in me as well!
